JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With more than 60 of Jacksonville's restaurants, caterers and wine vendors participating, Caring Chefs is a night that people don't want to miss
For 2 1/2 hours atendees get to go from booth to booth sampling all the food the river city has to offer, and it's all for a good cause.

Caring Chefs Dennis Chan, from the Blue Bamboo Restaurant and Wine Bar visited The Morning Show with a tasty recipe, Cambodian Chicken and Green Mango Salad, that will be featured at the event.
Caring Chef's will be hosted at the Avenues Mall on Sunday, October 23rd from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Here is the recipe for the Cambodian Chicken and Green Mango Salad:
1 tsp chopped garlic 1 tbsp oil 1 cup shredded green papaya or mango 2/3 cup carrot, shredded ¼ cup mint or basil leaves 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded ¼ cup toasted peanuts 2 tbsp shredded green onions 1 tsp garlic 1 red chile, veins and seeds optional ¼ cup water 1 tbsp fish sauce 1 ½ tbsp lime 1 ½ tbsp sugar
Puree 1 tsp garlic, chile, water, fish sauce, lime, and sugar until liquid.
Set aside.
Sauté garlic in oil over medium heat until fragrant.
Let cool.
Combine papaya, carrot, mint or basil, chicken, peanuts, and green onion in a bowl.
Add garlic oil and pureed liquid.
Toss and serve in lettuce leaf or as a side salad.
