Three Flagler County teenagers were arrested Thursday in connection with a break-in of an occupied home.
Deputies charged Randy Jones, 16, of Hymon Circle, Bunnell, and Frankie Turner, 17, of Knox Jones Road, Bunnell, with burglary of an occupied dwelling. The third teenager, David Green Jr. 15, was charged with being a principal to burglary of an occupied dwelling and a principle to petit theft. All three were charged with loitering or prowling.

Deputies were called to a home on 88 Eastwood Drive around 9 a.m. after the resident said she found someone in her parent?s bedroom. The victim said she shouted at the intruder and he exited through the bedroom window.
Neighbors reported seeing the three running from the home and deputies located them in the area. All three matched the descriptions given of the witnesses and items stolen from the home were found in the backpack of Jones.
Green told deputies he had skipped school with Jones and Turner. The three suspects had been at the Target store on State Road 100, but then decided to walk into the Cypress Knoll or ?E? section of Palm Coast.
As they were walking, Turner entered an unlocked vehicle on Eastwood Drive and stole a prescription pill bottle which was recovered from the backpack, deputies said.
The three suspects then approached the home at 88 Eastwood and there, deputies said, Turner and Jones entered the home through a bedroom window while Green stood watch outside. Rolled coins and a personalized wooden box were stolen. Deputies later located them inside the backpack.
Jones was additionally charged with possession of cocaine after deputies found a plastic baggie of white powder in his pocket. Turner also had an additional charge of unlawful possession of a prescription drug and petit theft.
?On Thursday, five Flagler County teenagers were arrested in two separate incidents on felony charges stemming from home burglaries to vehicle burglaries. It is time for parents to take responsibility for their children,? said Sheriff Donald W. Fleming. ?Parents need to know where their children are and who they are with.?
All three teenagers were transported to the Division of Youth Services in Daytona Beach.
