JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has announced that it is hiring 40 part-time bus operators with the opportunity for full-time advancement.
The positions require a high school diploma or GED and a Florida commercial driver's license.

Training pay is $10 per hour, and once out of training, the starting pay begins at $11, with annual progression to the top rate of $19 per hour.
