JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are searching for two men they say robbed a Westside pawn shop last week.
According to investigators, two men with guns entered the Value Pawn at 905 Edgewood Avenue about 10 a.m. on Aug. 14. The robbers ordered employees to the ground, then stole jewelry and emptied three cash registers.

The suspects were wearing ski masks and dressed in all black. They also had on gloves with their fingertips exposed.
Surveillance video gives investigators in a case like this one, an image of what the suspects look like, Channel 4 Crime Analyst Ken Jefferson said.
"This is directly similar to another pawn shop that was hit in Lake City, so with that in mind and JSO possibly working with Lake City employees, maybe they can put their information together to see if it's the same MO, see if the logistical stuff is the same," Jefferson said.
Because the intruders had masks covering their faces, Jefferson said detectives will have a more difficult time getting someone to come forward with identifying information.
"A lot of times these bad guys leave traces of evidence or leave something behind," Jefferson said. "Sometimes it appears to be miniscule or something that is very, very minor that you wouldn't think could lead to the identity of these individuals."
That tiny bit of information -- a mistake by the criminals -- is what often leads law enforcement to them.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
