Jacksonville man shot, killed on Haines Street
Police were called to the 3500 block of Haines Street about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police say a 27-year-old man was standing on Haines Street talking with friends about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday when a car drove up, several men got out and one of them fired a fatal shot.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says arriving officers found Antonyo Harold unresponsive in the street. Jacksonville Fire-Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police have not released details of the men who arrived right before the shot was fired or a description of the vehicle.
Court records show Harold was awaiting sentencing on a kidnapping charge and was out on bond.
Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
