JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police said they discovered the body of 24-year-old man at the Flag Street Apartments.
Willie McGowan was found dead in the 2100 block of West 12th Street in Northwest Jacksonville.

Police said they haven't determined the cause of death, but someone Thursday evening said they heard gunfire.
Investigators said they have a few possible witnesses whom they plan to question.
