Police ID woman whose body found downtown No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have identified the body of a woman found near downtown earlier this month.
Investigators said 34-year-old Stephanie Holmes' cause of death is still undetermined.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a homeless man spotted the decomposed body on Houston Street near Jefferson Street about 9 a.m. July 15. He went to a nearby business, where the police were called.
Anyone with any information about Holmes' death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
