JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office is mailing 34,198 vote-by-mail ballots to eligible voters who requested them ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Eligible voters can request a vote-by-mail ballot through the Duval County Supervisor of Elections website, duvalelections.gov, by phone or in person. Requests also can be submitted by email attachment, fax or mail, but must include a signature and other required information.
Florida voters must make a new vote-by-mail request after every general election.
The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed for the Nov. 3 election is 5 p.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 22.
Completed vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. ET on Election Day.
“Vote-by-mail is a dependable and trustworthy method for casting your ballot,” Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland said. “We recommend voting by mail so you can avoid long lines and ensure nothing gets in the way of casting your ballot.”
