The charges stemmed from Bacca's relationship with a boy he knew. It was never known if the boy was a student of his, but the incidents took place at the boy's home.

Prosecutors said all along there were no other victims.

Bacca was a one-time "Teacher of the Year" at Long Branch Elementary School, and "Teacher of the Year" at Windy Hill Elementary.
