JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Zoo has a new addition to its family after a zebra foal was born Sunday morning.
The zoo said both mother and baby are doing great and are now on exhibit together.
A neonatal exam shows the foal is healthy and weighs 82 pounds.
She doesn't have a name yet. The right to name her will be auctioned during the zoo's spring fundraiser.
