Kidnapper lets child go unharmed

A child allegedly annoyed a kidnapper into releasing him unharmed by singing a gospel song for three straight hours.

According to 11Alive News , police say a man kidnapped nine-year-old Willie Myrick from the driveway of his Atlanta home and threw him in a car. The kidnapper told Myrick to be silent, but he began to sing his favorite gospel song, "Every Praise" instead.

The kidnapper started cursing and repeatedly told Myrick to be quiet, but he wouldn't. He sang the song for three hours. Finally, the kidnapper stopped the car and threw the boy out, telling him not to tell anyone about the incident.

Myrick then ran to a nearby home and asked the resident to call for help.

Police don't have any leads on the suspect.
