JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 24-year-old man was killed and a second person injured in an overnight shooting in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
When the officers arrived, they found that two men had been shot.
A man later identified as Ronald Morris died at the scene and the other man was transported to UF Health Jacksonville in stable condition, according to police.
Officers have no suspect information and no motive for the shootings.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact JSO or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
