Daniel Sallas pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor felony domestic battery charge earlier this year.

According to a police report, Sallas got into an argument with Lori Ann Sallas over a computer program, and he grabbed a knife and threatened to cut her throat.

In 2012, she filed a domestic battery report after they got into a fight. He tried to remove her wedding ring forcibly, then threw her into the bed board, hitting her head, according to a police report. He was not arrested.

The couple was briefly married, divorced, but then started living together again.
