JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 31-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for the 2006 shooting death of his 27-year-old neighbor.

Larry Felton White Jr. was convicted in September of one count of second-degree murder in the killing of Kevin Drew and faces a 20-year minimum mandatory sentence.

In January 2006, White and Drew got into an argument outside of their residences on Joffre Drive. During the argument, Drew punched White in the mouth. White then pulled out his .40 caliber pistol, chased Drew down the road until they reached a neighbor's fence and shot the victim. Drew died at the scene as a result of multiple gunshot wounds to his arm, head and chest.

In 2007, White was convicted of this charge and sentenced to life in prison. However, due to an error in the jury instructions, the case was reversed on appeal.
