Gainesville: man arrested for defecating on church steps

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Police say a man was arrested in defecation on the steps of a church in Gainesville.
Police say 68-year-old Louis Larson was offered use of a bathroom by employees of a parking lot across the street, during the defecation.
Officers say the man continued to curse at the people offering him a bathroom and continued to defecate on the the steps of St. Augustine Church and Catholic Student Center on University Avenue.
Church staff decided to press charges disorderly conduct charge, a second-degree misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,000.
