Police say disturbance between 2 motorcycle clubs led to Orange Park shooting

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Police have released the identity of the victim of a deadly shooting early Saturday at an Orange Park pool hall.

The Orange Park Police Department said Michael Dion Rogers, 43, was shot multiple times after a fight between two motorcycle clubs at Park Avenue Billiards.

The motorcycle clubs were later identified as the "Outcasts" and the "Soul Brothers."

Police said the dispute started over motorcycle club vests/insignia that were being worn by certain patrons of Park Avenue Billiards. The altercation escalated and culminated in the shooting of two men, police said.

Rogers was taken to Orange Park Medical Center, where he died.

A second victim was shot and taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

His identity and the identity of the suspected shooter are not being released until the investigation is complete, police said.
