Duval County early voting kicks off with nearly 16,000 ballots cast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland reported 3,789 votes were cast during Early Voting on Friday, August 7, the first day of the early voting period in Duval County.

Holland said combined with vote-by-mail ballots, the total number of votes cast to date stands at 15,719, representing a turnout percentage of 2.43%.

Early Voting in Duval County runs through Sunday, August 16. Polling locations are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Voters casting ballots early may do so for the Primary Election as well as the Special First Unitary Election. Residents with questions can visit duvalelections.gov or call the Duval County Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683).
