JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duval County voters continued heading to the polls Sunday during the third day of early voting.
Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland reported 9,449 votes were cast during early voting Sunday, bringing the total number of ballots cast so far to 22,148, including vote-by-mail ballots. The overall voter turnout percentage now stands at 3.43%.

The latest figures follow approximately 6,500 ballots cast Saturday, the second day of early voting, and 3,789 ballots cast Friday, the first day.
At the end of Friday, Holland reported 15,719 ballots had been cast, including vote-by-mail ballots, representing a voter turnout of 2.43%.
Early voting in Duval County runs through Sunday, Aug. 16. Polling locations are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
