FCSO unveils billboard of missing Bunnell man Contos was last seen May 7, 2015 No description found
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff's Office unveiled a billboard Tuesday offering a $10,000 reward for information in the disappearance of a Bunnell man.
George Contos has been missing since May 7, 2015. Family members know him as "Uncle Waldo." His family contacted the sheriff's office May 17. Deputies went to his home on Apricot Lane, but they didn't find him. Three days later his car was found abandoned at the Ace Hardware store on Palm Coast Parkway.
Contos is described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, and he has a prosthetic replacement for his amputated left leg. He is diabetic.
The sheriff's office said deputies suspect foul play and they do consider Contos' disappearance as suspicious.
The billboard is at 4368 North Ocean Shore Blvd.
