Flagler County Sheriff's Office to unveil billboard for missing Bunnell man. Watch News4Jax at 8AM No description found
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is planning to unveil a billboard for a missing Bunnell man Tuesday.
George Contos has been missing since May 7, 2015. Family members know him as "Uncle Waldo." His family contacted the sheriff's sffice May 17. Deputies went to his home on Apricot Lane, but they didn't find him. Three days later his car was found abandoned at the Ace Hardware store on Palm Coast Parkway.
Contos is described as being 5'11", weighing 240-pounds and he has a prosthetic replacement since his left leg is amputated. He is diabetic.
The sheriff's office says deputies suspect foul play and they do consider Contos disappearance as suspicious.
The unveiling will be at 4368 North Ocean Shore Blvd. at 2 p.m.
