Boyfriend pleads guilty in missing woman's death

Rebecca Ware disappeared in October 2010; boyfriend pleads guilty to murder

St. Johns County deputies have conducted several searches but never found Rebecca Ware's body.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The boyfriend of a woman reported missing in October 2010 has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in her death.

Timothy Johnson was sentenced to 19 years in prison for the murder of Rebecca Ware.

A St. Johns County grand jury indicted Johnson on the second-degree murder charge in 2012.

Ware, 34, was last seen Oct. 29, 2010, when she left her workplace, Hydro Aluminum North America, in St. Augustine Shores. Her car was found in a Publix parking lot in St. Augustine. Her body still has not been found.

Johnson was named a person of interest in Ware's disappearance. The last anyone saw of Ware, she and Johnson were arguing.
