JSO: 2 men shot in Northwest Jacksonville

Both men were taken to UF Health with non-threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.A man in his 60s suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg Friday night on Mount Herman Street, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

During the investigation a second individual, a 17-year-old male, arrived at UF Health Jacksonville hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.

This second victim indicated he had received his wound on Mount Herman Street. One victim was outside and the second victim was inside a residence at the time of the incident. 

The shooters were described as two black men in a light-blue, older Honda Accord.  The motive and exact circumstances surrounding the shooting this time are still being investigated. 

The case is being investigated by the Violent Crimes Task Force.
