ORLANDO, Fla. – Facebook set up a Safety Check feature on Sunday following the mass shooting at Pulse Orlando nightclub that claimed the lives of 50 people and injured 53 others.

If you are in the vicinity of a crisis, Facebook will ask if you're okay.
Users can click the "I'm Safe" button, which alerts their family and friends via Facebook that they're okay.
You can also check a list of friends who may be affected by the disaster.
