1 dead, 1 injured in Moncrief shooting 2 men shot off Lantana Avenue, police say No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One man was killed and one man was injured in a shooting in the Moncrief area of Northwest Jacksonville Wednesday evening, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Officers were called about 8 p.m. to Lantana Avenue, near the intersection of Edgewood Avenue West and Moncrief Road.
When they arrived, police discovered two men had been shot. They were taken to UF Health, where one of the men died.
The other man was in life-threatening condition at last check, police said.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
