JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was arrested last week after slapping a child in the face and chasing her and another child with a knife, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Heather Jordan, 31, is charged with child abuse and aggravated assault.

According to the arrest report, a neighbor called police when the victim and another child showed up at the door, crying.
The victim told police that Jordan had slapped her in the face and chased her and the other child with a knife.
Investigators said the victim had red marks on her face and a bloody nose.
The Department of Children and Families was called to investigate.
Jordan was booked into the Duval County Jail on a $280,000 bond, according to jail records.
