BRANTLEY COUNTY, Ga. — As Brantley County continues to deal with the aftermath of devastating wildfires, the Brantley County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about scammers targeting the community and posing as law enforcement.

In a post shared on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, deputies said the agency will never call someone and ask them to pay bond money over the phone.
