JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has identified a man found dead in Whitehouse on the Westside early Monday morning.
He was 37-year-old Shiek Bernard Williams, police said.

Police were called to Joos and Jones roads shortly after 3 a.m., after a passerby saw a body on the side of the road.
According to Sgt. C. H. Ford, Williams was found dead on the side of the road.
The medical examiner was at the scene to determine Williams' cause of death, along with other JSO crime scene techs.
Police said there does appear to be foul play or trauma to his body.
Police said they have no suspects at this time.
Police blocked Joos Road until the scene was cleared.
