Man shot twice outside Arlington apartment complex, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 34-year-old man was shot twice Tuesday night while walking through an Arlington apartment complex, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The victim, who was shot just after 11 p.m., told police he was walking through the Arco Place Apartments on Arco Drive when a man stepped toward him and fired about eight shots.

Two bullets hit the man in the side, going clean through.

The man was taken to UF Health.

Detectives found five shell casings at the scene.
