CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE (Of nine judges on the circuit bench in St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler and Volusia counties, only one race is contested and will appear on the primary ballot.)

To uphold the law in a fair and impartial manner.

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

1. Time management skills and experience to handle the high number of case loads assigned to judges.
2. Diverse legal knowledge and experience of the candidate.
3. Life experiences and the ability to understand the community our courts serve.

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

You deserve a judge with integrity, diverse experience, knowledge, maturity and common sense to make your potential life altering decisions. For the last eighteen years, I have represented thousands of residents in our community. My legal experience includes the following practice areas:
District Court of Appeal- criminal, civil, and family.
Circuit Court- criminal felony, juvenile, dependency, civil, probate, and family.
County Court- criminal misdemeanor, civil, and small claims.
Administrative Court- civil.
Federal Court- bankruptcy, and immigration.
Time management, patience, commitment and efficiency are a few of the skills I have mastered through life experiences and operating a law practice. Those are some reasons that distinguish me from my opponents.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

A judge with integrity and a passion for the law, who treated everyone with courtesy, respect and fairness.

To provide fair and deliberate justice to our citizens

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

Selecting the most qualified candidate to faithfully serve the interests of the people, while improving the community and interpreting the law to appropriately resolve the matter before the court.

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

As a homicide prosecutor for the past 10 years, I have significant trial experience and have developed skills in the courtroom that set me apart from the other candidates. In electing a Circuit Judge, the people are selecting a traveling trial judge. They should choose a person with the experience and skills that are gained only through handling significant and difficult cases. As a homicide prosecutor, I have traveled the entire circuit and successfully litigated our most important cases. Though my practice has been recently focused on serving the needs of innocent victims, I also have experience in civil, juvenile, family and probate matters.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

That each party before the Court had a full and fair opportunity to be heard, that the individuals received personal service from a judge that cared about the issue, that the parties understood the basis for the Court's ruling, and that rulings were delivered in a timely fashion, allowing for individuals to appear before the Court and continue with their lives. Citizens are entitled to a hard-working public servant, invested in the community, and committed to its future.
