KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – A man and woman whose bodies were found Sept. 3 inside a Keystone Heights home died in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
Police tape was placed around the home on Columbia Avenue while deputies investigated.
According to a Sheriff's Office incident report, Garvin Lee Willis, 64, shot his wife, Pamala Willis, 63, and then turned the gun on himself.
Neighbors said it's a quiet area and were stunned to hear the two had been found dead.
"We’re all shocked around here. When something like this happens it affects everybody in the neighborhood," said Fred Merrill, who lives nearby.
