Sloths exhibit coming to St. Augustine Alligator Farm

Interactive exhibit being built for park's newest residents, Teddy and Grizzly

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Augustine Alligator Farm is adding a two-toed sloths exhibit!

Teddy and Grizzly are a pair of two-toed sloths that were brought to the park on Anastasia Boulevard from Busch Gardens a few months ago.

The St. Augustine Record reports the pair produced three offspring together in the past, but that's not the plan for them here.

A new interactive exhibit being built for the slow-moving animals is expected to open later this summer.

You'll be able to give the sloths fruit or vegetables while learning about the conservation of rain forest animals.

Check the Alligator Farm's Facebook page for updates on exactly when you'll be able to see these docile creatures and hang out with them at the park.
