Amy’s Kitchen Inc. has voluntarily recalled its Organic Soups Lentil Light in Sodium product due to potential spoilage, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The Petaluma, California-based company initiated the recall on June 22, 2026. The FDA classified it as a Class II recall on July 14, 2026.

The recall covers 15,350 cases — 12 cans per case — of the 14.5-oz. canned soup. Only products with the following identifiers are impacted:
- Lot: 60D0924
- Best Before: April 2027
- UPC (U.S.): 042272005833
- UPC (Canada): 10042272905833
Where products were distributed
The affected soup was distributed across 29 U.S. states and Canada. Domestic distribution includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Consumers who purchased the affected product are encouraged to check the lot number and best-before date on the bottom or side of the can.
