An Aventura, Fla.-based company is recalling nearly 30,000 pounds of raw beef products after they were imported from Argentina without undergoing required federal reinspection, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture announcement issued Aug. 7.
Corte Argentino USA LLC is pulling approximately 29,628 pounds of raw boneless beef products from shelves. The products were distributed to retailers and distributors in Florida and Texas.

Products involved in recall
The recalled beef was produced between May 15–20, 2026, and carries use-or-freeze-by dates between Sept. 15–20, 2026. All products are sold in various-weight cardboard boxes under the “Frigorífico Gorina SAIC” label and bear Argentinian establishment number “EST. N° OF. 2025” and shipping mark “26644-AA.”
The five recalled products are:
- Boneless beef Top Sirloin Butt (“Cuadril Sin Tapa”)
- Boneless beef Eye Round (“Peceto”)
- Boneless beef Topside Cap Off (“Nalga AD S/Tapa”)
- Boneless beef Flat (“Carnaza Cuadrada”)
- Boneless beef Knuckle (“Bola de Lomo”)
What consumers should do
No confirmed illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled products. However, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is urging consumers who may have purchased these items not to eat them.
“Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them,” the FSIS announcement states. “These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.”
Anyone who believes they may have become ill after consuming these products is advised to contact a healthcare provider.
How the recall was discovered
Officials say the issue was identified during routine FSIS inspection activities. FSIS said it will conduct recall effectiveness checks to confirm that the recalling firm has notified its customers and that the product is no longer available to consumers. A retail distribution list will be posted at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls when available.
