SnapJax users capture video, photos of huge waterspout forming over Florida lake
VIDEO: Waterspout forms over Lake Weir in Marion County (SnapJAX)
MARION COUNTY, Fla. – SnapJax user-submitted photos and videos show a waterspout forming in Marion County Friday evening.
Photos and a video submission from “Jan” and “J Collins” shows the waterspout form over Lake Weir, a fresh-water lake located in southern Marion County.
Waterspouts can be dangerous to boaters if they get too close.

WKMG in Orlando also had viewers capture the waterspout.
“A woman filmed the waterspout after returning from work in Weirsdale,” WKMG said. “She told News 6 the video shows the view from Domino’s on U.S. Highway 27.” Click here to read more .
