The city of Brunswick is rolling out a new way to get around: No bus stops, no waiting.
Brunswick city commissioners will hear an update Wednesday on a planned “microtransit” public transportation system called “Brunswick Breeze,” which is set to start this fall.
It will work like Uber and Lyft, with riders booking private rides instead of using fixed stops.
Driver training begins this month, and the launch is planned for October.
Commissioners meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.
