GBI: All charges dropped against former Camden County magistrate judge, 2 others

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – All charges in a case against a former Camden County magistrate judge and two others have been dropped, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
William Ashe, 64, the former judge, along with Troy Dennis Cox, 68, and Merinda Watson, 64, had been charged with burglary amid an ongoing investigation led by the GBI .
But all charges in the case have been dismissed by the Atlantic Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, GBI said.
The case is expected to be administratively closed in the next few weeks.
