Small plane makes emergency landing on Georgia street, crashes into several vehicles

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – A single-engine plane made an emergency landing Monday in the middle of a street in Gainesville, Georgia, just north of Atlanta, causing multiple crashes.

According to the Gainesville Police Department, the plane landed at the intersection of Browns Bridge Road and Pearl Nix Parkway at around 12:30 p.m. and struck multiple vehicles.

The department did not provide a cause for the emergency landing.

Police said minor injuries were reported.
