Person critically burned in Westside house fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was critically injured Wednesday morning in a house fire on Delta Avenue, between Hamilton and Cassat avenues, according to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.

Firefighters said the person was out of the house when the first units arrived just before 10 a.m.

Other than broken windows, little damage was seen on the exterior of the house. No additional details were provided about the condition of the person burned.
