Mathews Bridge reopens after crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Mathews Bridge was shut down for more than an hour Sunday due to a crash, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

According to police, at least one person was injured in the crash, which was reported around 4:45 p.m.

Police said traffic was routed to the Hart Bridge.

By 6:15, the Mathews Bridge was back open.
