Breeze Airways to add new nonstop route from Jacksonville to New York City

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Breeze Airways is adding a new nonstop route from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to New York City’s Westchester Airport (HPN), just north of Manhattan, the Jacksonville Aviation Authority announced Thursday.

The route will start June 30.

This marks the eighth nonstop route for Breeze from JAX and the first new route announcement since the airline announced in March that it would become the newest carrier at JAX.

“We are ecstatic to see Breeze grow in Jacksonville before their first flight has taken off,” JAA CEO Mark VanLoh said. “The airline’s nonstop service to Westchester Airport will provide travelers with low fares and more options when traveling to New York.”

The flights from Jacksonville to Westchester will be on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and will start at $79, according to a release from JAA.
