Jacksonville, Fla. – One pedestrian is dead after a crash on Argyle Forest Boulevard.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at around 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Authorities said a woman broke down on Argyle Forest Blvd. near the Loch Highlands Boulevard intersection, and when she attempted to cross the street she was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle that struck her then lost control and collided with another vehicle, JSO said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene, and the occupants of the two vehicles were all transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
This is the 65th traffic fatality this year.
