Motorcycle crash closes University Boulevard in Sans Souci neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All lanes of University Boulevard between Beney Road and Barnes Road were closed in the Sans Souci neighborhood following a serious early morning crash.
Surveillance video from a nearby gas station captured the moments before the crash. The video shows a pickup truck and a motorcyclist. A few seconds later, that motorcycle crashes into the wall of a building with a second motorcyclist doing the same thing moments later.
The pickup truck was damaged.
Roads were closed for hours are the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was investigating and reopened around 10 a.m.
It’s unclear what caused the crash.
JSO said it was not a deadly crash although the traffic homicide union was on the scene to provide additional resources.
