Duval County Public Schools’ 2024-25 enrollment season begins Monday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duval County Public Schools will host two “School Showcase Saturdays” as parents begin enrolling students in kindergarten, magnet, VPK and other programs for the 2024-25 school year.
Enrollment season for the district begins Monday with some important dates to remember:
Kindergarten enrollment opens Jan. 1 .
Applications for Magnet, Special Transfer Option, and VPK schools open Jan. 1 and close Feb. 29 .
The school showcase Saturdays will allow parents to take a tour and talk with school leaders and educators at schools they’re interested in.
Jan. 27 – Middle and high schools
Feb. 3 – Elementary schools
All district schools will be open on their designated Saturday for families to stop by.
