Investigators trying to figure out how little girl died overnight in Woodstock

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A little girl who was found unresponsive Sunday night at a home in the Woodstock area died at the hospital, police said.

Investigators said they don’t know how she died but an autopsy should help determine that.

Officers were called around 11 p.m. Sunday to a home on Allison Street, which is south of Commonwealth Avenue on Jacksonville’s Westside.

The girl, who is believed to be between 5 and 10 years old, was found unresponsive and was taken to a local hospital, where she died.
