Tornado damage in Samara Lakes neighborhood
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A confirmed tornado spotted south of World Golf Village in St. Johns County Thursday afternoon caused damage to several houses including downed trees, roof damage, broken windows and fences blown over.
Damage has been reported to homes in the TrailMark and Samara Lakes subdivisions. According to officials, there was no major structural damage.

The National Weather Service said there was visual confirmation of the tornado and an excellent radar indication. The NWS Survey team was headed to the area to determine the path, intensity, length and width of the tornado.
