OJ Simpson dies at 76 after battle with cancer

Former football star, actor and acquitted murder defendant O.J. Simpson died Wednesday after a battle with cancer, his family confirmed via X.

He was 76.

In May 2023, Simpson posted a video on X saying he had “caught cancer” and had to do “the whole chemo thing.” However, he didn’t specify the type of cancer.

Then in February 2024, sources revealed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy in Las Vegas.
