Police looking for man suspected of robbing bank on Normandy Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who they said robbed a bank on Normandy Boulevard Saturday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

According to JSO, around 10:10 a.m., they responded to reports of a robbery at a TD Bank on Normandy Boulevard, near Ellis Road South.

Police said the suspect gave a note to the teller demanding money, and the teller complied with the suspect’s demand.

The suspect then left in a “grayish blue pickup truck” with possible lawn equipment in the bed, according to police.

The suspect was described as a man, possibly in his 40s, approximately 5′7″ to 5′9″. He was wearing a camo ball cap and a gray T-shirt.

JSO detectives are interviewing witnesses and canvassing for video surveillance. The investigation is ongoing.
