TELL US: Clay County schools are updating their cell phone policy for students. What are your thoughts?

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County School District is updating its cellphone use policy for students.

The update will allow high schoolers to use their phone during lunch or when a teacher gives them permission to use them for educational purposes.

Middle and elementary school students can only use their phones before and after school.

In the event of a school-wide emergency, students will have access to their devices.
