Where Florida, Georgia fall in new rankings of best school systems in nation
A new list from Wallet Hub ranked the best and worst school systems in the country based on student performance, funding, safety, class size and instructor credentials.
The top 5 state school systems were:
Massachusetts
Connecticut
Maryland
New Jersey
Wisconsin
Florida came in at No. 11 overall on the list and ranked No. 8 for safety.
But Florida is at the bottom of the list for median SAT scores and has one of the highest student-teacher ratios.
Georgia is ranked 35th overall, and the Peach State was in the bottom 10 for safety.
