I-10 reopens after crashes shut down lanes in both directions in Baker County

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A pair of crashes on I-10 in opposite directions shut down the highway in Baker County during the morning rush Thursday.

The eastbound crash, which involves injuries, was at Mile Marker 321 in Sanderson, and the westbound crash was 2 miles away at Mile Marker 319.

A long line of tractor-trailers could be seen stopped on the highway, with some drivers even getting out of their cabs while they wait for the roadblock to clear.

With all eastbound lanes of I-10 closed, traffic was being diverted onto US 441 in Columbia County.

Westbound traffic on I-10 was being diverted onto US 90.

As of 12 p.m., all lanes were back open.
