JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a 70-year-old woman who was missing for nearly two days on Jacksonville’s Westside was found safe Thursday night.
Officials said she walked away from the Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center and went in an unknown direction but was found unharmed around 9 p.m. on Thursday.
“Thank you to all who assisted in this search and disseminated the information to others in the community,” JSO said.
In situations where someone disappears or wanders off, it’s important to fill out REVAMP or Registry for Endangered, Vulnerable and Missing Persons.
It’s a free program that records important information that could help officers save a lot of time when looking for their loved ones.
